The Beginning
Trademark Roofing Company was established in 1999 to service the Portland metro area and specific regions of the Oregon coast. Locally owned and operated by Mark & Sarah Walters, our motto is to provide quality workmanship and dependable service to all our customers, both residential and commercial.
Mark started in the roofing business at age 17 as a laborer loading roofing materials. He worked his way up to becoming a journeyman roofer, expert repairman, professional estimator and managing more than 12 crews with boom trucks and repairs. As a means to provide the type of service and quality of work that he so strongly believes in, Mark opened Trademark Roofing in 1999.
Mark has experience in all styles of composition, tile and cedar shakes including customized applications, as well as all steep slope roofing applications. He is often a resource for local architects with roofing specification questions.
While Mark has supervised numerous projects, his most notable projects are Street of Dream homes, resort hotels, historical buildings, and one-of-a-kind homes. While working on the renovation of a Chinese-style building downtown, Mark custom ordered handmade tiles from Asia to match existing tile work. It is this attention to detail and the willingness to go “above and beyond” the conventional that sets him apart from other roofing companies.

Our Employees
The key for delivering quality work is starting with the best employees. Trademark Roofing employs journeyman roofers and provides ongoing training to guarantee a knowledgeable staff. All employees of Trademark Roofing wear clothing with the company logo, so you can rest easy knowing you have the proper crew working on your home. Each crew has a supervisor on site daily to prevent any problems and keep everything on schedule. Safety is a main concern and all employees adhere to OSHA regulations. All Trademark Roofing employees have been trained and certified in first aid by the Red Cross. As you can see, we hold our employees to the highest professional standards.

Upon request, Mark will personally conduct a walk-thru with homeowners and contractors at the completion of each job.
